We're a little late at announcing the winners to the public, but the winners were contacted on March 29.

The Announcement

To celebrate the launching of MyToolfarm, we've teamed up with Red Giant Software to announce our first of many contests.

How to Enter

  1. Log in/Create an account on MyToolfarm.
  2. Click the upload button to go to the Upload page.
  3. Upload your video and add all pertinent information.
    • Please be descriptive.
    • Select the plugins you used, which must include either Magic Bullet Looks or Trapcode Form.
    • Choose the category 'Red Giant NAB 2008 Contest'.
If you are having problems uploading, you can use YouSendIt and send your files to john@redgiantsoftware.com. Please zip your movie file with a text file which includes your name and contact information, a description of your video and the plug-ins used.

Rules

  1. Just upload your video using Red Giant's Magic Bullet Looks or Trapcode Form, and select the category 'Red Giant NAB Contest'. (Of course, you are welcome to use other Red Giant products, just make sure you are using one of the key products listed above.)
  2. Red Giant must be able to confirm and analyze project in its raw form to see how the final project was achieved.
  3. 50% of judgment will be based on user scores. 50% of judgment will be based on selected Red Giant Software judges.
  4. By submitting videos to Toolfarm, Toolfarm and Red Giant Software reserve the right to use your video as promotional material.
  5. By uploading video, you are affirming that you have permission to use the video. Toolfarm and Red Giant reserves the right to remove any uploaded, posted, or shared material that compromises any contractual or fiduciary relationship or which infringes any copyright, trade mark, patent, or other intellectual property right without the express permission of the owner.
  6. The submissions must be one minute or less.
  7. The contest is valid for US residents only, 18 years and older.
  8. All submissions are due March 24, 2008.

Prizes:

Winner:

  • One round trip airline ticket to NAB 2008 held in Las Vegas, NV, April 14-17, 2008. The prize includes airfare and two days and one night in a hotel on The Strip.*
  • 2 hour showroom floor presentation at Red Giant's booth to show how you integrated the products and promote your work;
  • Feature spot on Red Giant's 'Our Community' site
  • One free Red Giant product OR free upgrade.

Winners will be announced March 29, 2008

The grand prize will not exceed a total of $1,300 US. The breakdown is as follows: Airfare capped at $700, hotel capped at $500, food/transportation capped at $100.
