RoseMary III is a band of very talented 14 & 15 year olds, led by Wilson Cusack. I shot some 640x480 video on my digital camera without a tripod and it looked pretty crappy, but I added some effects and I think it turned out pretty nice!
First, I used the motion stabilizer in After Effects, which fixed much of the problem but not all of it. I scaled up the video because it was not filling the screen anymore after my stabilization, and it was zoomed out too far (zoom doesn't work on my digital camera in video mode).
I applied Red Giant Magic Bullet Looks on the video to give it a nice black and white look with crushed whites and blacks. Then I used GenArts Sapphire Film Damage effects with some jitter. This worked great to camouflage my shakycam skills!
After that... some text animations in AE... out of the box presets modified to fit my project.
