This is a piece created in collaboration with Oslund + Co Dance. It is a meditation on journey, contact, and passing. There is a lot of placing 4:3 elements into exaggerated widescreen format (the piece is meant to be rear-screen projected to cover the entire back area of a proscenium stage with the dancers appearing between it and the audience), and there are sections where the visual animations are actually driven by the soundtrack using audio keyframes. The piece is surprisingly minimal considering the visual desity I was able to produce–there are only 24 or 25 shots in the entire piece, including composited sections.
